Overview

At Mindstone, we believe in creating a collaborative learning environment while respecting your privacy. This document explains what information is visible to others on the platform and what remains private.

Quick Summary:

  • Your learning activity and sandbox work are private by default

  • Your achievements and progress are visible to encourage peer learning

  • Your contact information is always private

  • You control what you share through comments and saved prompts

What Other Learners Can See

Your Profile

Other learners in your community or enterprise can see:

  • Name

  • Username

  • Role

  • Bio (if you've added one)

  • Programs completed and in progress

  • Certificates and badges earned

  • Your followers and who you're following

  • Your AI adoption progress chart (time spent experimenting with AI and time saved, compared to the average in your community or enterprise)

Your Progress (Within a Cohort)

When you're enrolled in a program, cohort members can see:

  • Completion percentage

  • Evidence Points (EP) total

  • Prompt Level

  • Certificate status (earned/not earned)

  • Your position on the cohort leaderboard

Why visible? Leaderboards and visible progress create healthy motivation and help you see how you compare to peers.

Your Contributions

  • Demo submissions - Visible to all cohort members (including videos)

  • Use cases - The use cases themselves are visible to others in your cohort to encourage collaboration and inspire peers

  • However, whether you've completed a use case is private

  • Any files or materials you upload to verify completion are private

  • Saved prompts - When you save a prompt to the library, it's visible only to others in your specific community or enterprise (not to all users)

  • Comments and highlights on articles - Visible to others in your community or enterprise

Why visible? Sharing work enables peer learning, inspiration, and collaboration.

Membership & Visibility

  • You can see other members in your community or enterprise

  • Others can see that you're a member of the same community or enterprise

Your Sandbox Work

  • Prompts you write in the Sandbox (unless you save them to the library)

  • AI responses you receive

  • Your prompt scores and rubric feedback

  • Your complete Sandbox history

Why private? The Sandbox is your safe space to experiment, learn, and make mistakes without judgment.

Your Conversations

  • Conversations in the Personalizer (completely private)

  • Conversations during assessments (completely private)

Note: These conversations are not visible to other learners or admins.

Your Personal Information

Context-Specific Visibility

Community

  • Comments, highlights, and saved prompts are visible to all community members

  • You can see other community members' profiles and achievements

Enterprise

  • Comments, highlights, and saved prompts are visible only to colleagues in your enterprise

  • You can see other enterprise members' profiles and achievements

Privacy Between Groups

  • No cross-enterprise visibility: Members of other enterprises cannot see your data

Cohort-Specific

Some visibility is limited to your active cohort:

  • Leaderboards (EP, prompt level, progress)

  • Demo submissions
